MARBLE CARE
Marble is very porous and can be prone to staining and etching. Regular cleaning and sealing are good ideas.

Sealants don't make marble stain proof, but they make it stain resistant. Make sure your sealant is food safe if you're using it in a kitchen. When water no longer beads on the surface and instead leaves a dark spot, that means it has soaked into the stone's pores and the sealer must be reapplied.

Prevention is key - invest in coasters, cutting boards, trays or baskets to hold items on its surface. Any scratches or etching will need to be fixed by a pro, so it's best to try and avoid them in the first place.

Acid is terrible for marble. If things like wine or lemon juice spill, clean them up as soon as possible. Also, avoid cleaners that include vinegar.

Warm, soapy water is the best way to spot clean spills. Rinse well, sop up remaining water and dry it.

For most organic food stains, try a cleaning solution with 12% hydrogen peroxide & a few drops of ammonia. If you spill anything with an oil base, a liquid cleanser that contains household detergent, mineral spirits, or acetone should help.

In stock items usually leave the warehouse in 5 - 7 business days.

EXCLUSIONS: Items must be in new condition and in the original packaging to qualify for a refund (please do not assemble or modify the product in any way). The few exceptions that cannot be returned or refunded once ordered or in production include:

  • All Custom (Made to Order) /personalized and Special Order items
  • Select items marked "Final Sale or “Non-Returnable”

Furniture Delivery

Furniture and other large items are shipped via Furniture Truck Delivery. We offer two types of delivery services: Front Door Delivery and White Glove Delivery. All furniture orders will be shipped by default with our Front Door Delivery service, unless the White Glove Delivery option is requested. All long distance furniture deliveries will be scheduled Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Expedited delivery is not an option for Front Door and White Glove Delivery items. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the shipping information listed on the order is accurate. Once shipped, any changes in your shipping address can result in additional shipping charges.

Front Door Delivery is the default delivery option for all furniture and large items. White Glove Delivery is available at checkout. All White Glove Delivery furniture orders will be shipped complete. For more information, please call us at 1.800.268.2560.

  • Front Door Delivery: Includes delivery to the first threshold (front door, curbside, garage, lobby, or loading dock; depending on delivery conditions) and a 4 hour delivery window. Your in-stock furniture will be delivered in approximately 1 to 2 weeks. On occasion, Front Door Delivery service will only have a one person delivery team, so it is recommended to have 1 or more people help you with certain Front Door Delivery orders. You will be responsible for unpacking, debris removal, and all applicable assembly.
  • White Glove Delivery: Includes a two person delivery team that will handle light assembly, debris removal, and the careful placement of furniture (up to 1 flight of stairs). Your in-stock furniture will be delivered in approximately 2 to 3 weeks. As a courtesy to our customers, White Glove Delivery includes the removal of all packaging. Please request to keep all of the packaging if there is a possibility for a return with the eligible item.

Disclaimer

Freight damages on occasion do occur in transit. Please follow the procedures below:

  1. Inspect your shipment right away within 24 hours.
  2. If you suspect hidden damages, open the box and check the condition of the merchandise.
  3. If you find damages, please have the driver make note on the freight bill the number of damaged pieces and a detailed description of the nature of the damage. 
  4. Be prepared to provide proof of damages with photographic documentation of the damaged box and merchandise.

The customer is responsible for determining whether merchandise can be delivered from the delivery truck to the item's final destination. Please be aware of corridors, doorways, elevators, ceiling heights, turning radius, etc. which may cause a delivery problem. If the customer is not home at the time of a furniture delivery, additional shipping charges may be incurred for re-delivery. All shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for any additional return shipping costs.
